Botox® Injections

Botox® is a minimally invasive treatment commonly used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Made from a purified protein, neurotoxins have the ability to relax the muscles that create facial wrinkles, giving you a refreshed, younger look. Once you are examined, we will come up with a customized treatment plan to help you achieve the results for which you seek.

A specialist cosmetic surgeon can use Botox® for multiple purposes. Exact amounts of neurotoxins are used in precise areas in accordance with your needs. Your specialist will also provide you with pre- and post-treatment guidelines, helping to ensure that your Botox® treatment has the desired results. Contrary to myths surrounding Botox® treatment, the end results are not always the same. An experienced specialist can, however, use Botox® to achieve specific results for each individual patient.

Botox® Results

The timescales for Botox® results vary depending on the type of application and the person. Typically, you can expect to see results between 3 to 10 days after treatment. Many people worry that Botox® will leave them expressionless or unable to move facial features. While a frozen look is possible and often requested by our patients, it is not a necessary result of Botox® treatment.

Your specialist will work with you to decide on the result you wish to achieve from Botox® injections. Once you are happy to move forward with the treatment, the specialist will use precision injections to achieve the appearance you have requested. Always seek treatment from a skilled and experienced professional for the best possible results.

How can neurotoxins help with my migraine headache?

Neurotoxins are FDA approved to prevent headaches in adults with chronic migraines. It is felt that the relaxing of muscle contraction that Botox® induces in the forehead and neck changes the “messages” that nerves in the region send to the brain. Somehow the nerves from these areas which transmit the sensation of pain are no longer obligated to tell your consciousness that you’re having a headache.

Words cannot express how thankful and appreciative I am to have found you. I am deeply grateful for you, for your generosity and caring nature as pertaining to my medical condition. As you know, I was apprehensive about having further surgery, but you are and have been reassuring and confident in the type of procedure you would perform in order to fix my eyelid from the beginning. The fact that you are not pushy and gave me the time and space to make the decision on my own allowed me to prepare myself mentally and emotionally, that really made a difference. Besides from that, your continuous generosity made me confident that you were the right doctor for the task at hand. You will never know how appreciative I am of that. I would also like to let you know how pleased I am with the results of the surgery. I have not felt this comfortable in years. My parents are also very grateful since this was my 14th surgery. You have a true gift. Thank you again for your patience, time, concern, and overall care. I pray that God continues to give you strength to help people who truly need life-changing medical procedures.

Dr. Parsa is an amazing doctor. Warm and very caring. I had my eyes done a couple years ago and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Parsa likes to take the conservative approach which I greatly appreciate in a doctor when it comes to cosmetic surgery. I also go to Dr. Parsa for Botox and he always knows just the right amount. The staff in Dr. Parsa's office are all terrific!
