Beverly Hills Non-Surgical Liquid Facelift: Advantages and Disadvantages

As you age your skin begins to lose its fullness, which causes sagging skin and wrinkles. A non-surgical liquid facelift uses Botox and fillers to achieve wrinkle correction, facial contouring and volumizing. Botox is a protein that relaxes facial muscles to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers plump skin and smooth out wrinkles. Both Botox and fillers are administered through a series of injections using a small needle.
Advantages of A Liquid Facelift
Some people aren’t ready to take the deep plunge into a full-blown facelift and feel more comfortable doing a “trial run” to see what they would look like. A non-surgical liquid facelift can achieve much of the same look as going under the knife.
A surgical facelift has to be completed after a certain time when your face has done most of its changing. If not, your results won’t last as long, and you may end up needing another surgical facelift later on. A liquid facelift is a great way to improve the early stages of facial aging and hold you over until our surgeon agrees that it’s time for a surgical facelift.
Disadvantages of A Liquid Facelift
A liquid facelift is a temporary solution to eliminate signs of aging. To maintain optimal results you’ll want to repeat parts of the procedure every six to 18 months.
A liquid facelift can’t remove excess skin as a surgical facelift can.
